SulAmérica shows its commitment to support human rights, ethics and the environment, by actively participating in a variety of initiatives and by being a signatory of voluntary commitments. The Company has focused on a few international and national commitments, to gain knowledge and exchange information on the best practices of its members with other companies involved:
- Global Compact – ONU, part of the Brazilian Network
- Founding signatory of the Principles for Sustainable Insurance (PSI) of the United Nations Environmental Program for Financial Institutions (UNEP-FI), in 2012. Since 2013 SulAmérica has been a board member of the initiative, as it is the only representative in Latin America.
- Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), by SulAmérica Investments in 2009
